Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate has experience working with various irrigation systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal water efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, and repair irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip lines, valves, and controllers.
Perform routine maintenance to ensure efficient water distribution and system functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve irrigation issues, including leaks, clogs, and electrical faults.
Adjust system settings based on seasonal needs and customer requirements.
Collaborate with the landscaping team to ensure proper irrigation coverage for lawns, plants, and gardens.
Educate customers on best practices for irrigation system use and water conservation.
Maintain accurate service records and report any system deficiencies.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in irrigation installation, maintenance, and repair.
Strong understanding of irrigation components, including pumps, timers, backflow preventers, and piping systems.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Basic knowledge of landscaping principles and water efficiency strategies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
