LHH is recruiting a Corporate Legal Assistant for a downtown law firm. The Legal Assistant supports the transactional practice groups including corporate, M&A, Tax and Real Estate.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with preparation of legal documents and general correspondence in an accurate and timely manner. Extensive editing, proofreading, and redlining of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
• Coordinate, assemble, and organize closing materials, including closing binders.

• Draft standard correspondence and format documents.
• Coordinate and manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and make travel arrangements.
• Enter time entries for attorneys accurately and efficiently into the firm's timekeeping system.
• Maintain paper and electronic client and administrative files in accordance with firm procedures and the document management system.

Qualifications:
• High School diploma required.
• Minimum 5 years of corporate/transactional legal administrative assistant experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of legal documents, formatting, table of contents, styles, and track changes.
• Ability to manage workflow and delegate assignments and projects

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
