Financial Systems Accountant

My client is a non-profit organization looking for a Financial Systems Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate for the Financial Systems Accountant role will be responsible for assisting the accounting and finance department in maintaining their financial platforms. The duties of the ideal Financial Systems Accountant will be to oversee the ERP platforms, collaborate with various departments, lead cross-functional projects, develop system controls and documentation, identify risks, assist with the accounting operations and assist with other duties as needed. Daily responsibilities of the Financial Systems Accountant include:

· Maintain financial platforms.

· Collaborate with various departments.

· Develop system controls and documentation.

· Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategy.

· Assist with accounting operations.

· Monitor firms’ financial performance.

· Assist with systems implementation.

The ideal Financial Systems Accountant we seek must have the following qualifications for consideration:

· 3+ years of relevant work experience.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Finance or Accounting.

· Non-Profit or related industry experience, a plus.

· Experience with Sage Intacct or NetSuite, preferred.

· Ability to communicate effectively with leadership.
