Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to early childhood special education students
  • Implement behavior management techniques to support positive student conduct
  • Collaborate with general education staff and paraprofessionals to enhance learning outcomes
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress
  • Monitor and document student progress using paper-based and specialized software systems
  • Adapt curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entry-level experience in early childhood special education
  • Certification in Early Childhood Special Education
  • State teaching license
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Adaptability and empathy in working with children and families


TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Effective Date: 2026-2027 school year

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
