Optician

At EYECARE for You, we are a private practices with 2 locations, Richboro and Newtown. We are a high tech office and strive to proceed patients with the best and latest technologies at the point of examination and with lens designs. The Optician plays a key role in a small team of 1-3 professionals, supporting retail eyewear sales by expertly assisting customers with frame selection and lens fitting. This position involves hands-on lens measurement, prescription verification, and frame adjustment using manual processing and basic software tools to ensure accurate eyewear dispensing and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Measure lenses accurately and verify prescriptions
• Assist customers with frame selection and lens fitting
• Adjust frames to ensure comfortable wear
• Provide consultations and educate customers on eyewear options
• Manage inventory and process sales efficiently
• Ensure attention to detail in eyewear dispensing
• Maintain effective communication within a small team environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in opticianry
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Optician (CO) license
• Proficiency in lens fitting and frame adjustment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience in eyewear dispensing and sales
• Exceptional attention to detail
