Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Project Manager to lead office furniture projects from estimation through completion. This role requires strong organizational skills, client-facing communication, and a solid understanding of the commercial furniture industry, including space planning, logistics, and installation coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple office furniture projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, contractors, internal teams, and vendors.
  • Coordinate with MillerKnoll dealer partners across the United States on inbound projects in our service area.
  • Prepare installation quotes for assigned inbound projects from MillerKnoll dealer partners.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Proactively identify project risks, delays, or obstacles, and address them early.
  • Support ongoing process improvements with the Director of Operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during installations.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including change orders, delivery schedules, progress reports, punch lists, and close-out reports.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in project management, business, interior design, or related field preferred.
  • At least 3 years of work experience, preferably in the office furniture, construction, or commercial interiors industry.
  • Familiarity with office furniture manufacturers and systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management software (e.g., Monday, Smartsheet, Procore, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus but not required.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to client sites as needed.

Working Conditions:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (one-hour lunch break)
  • Hybrid work model: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote per week
  • Fast-paced, collaborative dealership environment with multiple concurrent projects

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (paid weekly, in arrears)
  • Performance-based bonus available
