Position: Project Superintendent

Office location: Clarence, NY

Site locations: Western New York (Buffalo, Rochester, Canadian Border to Pennsylvania Border) - Fully onsite

Reporting Structure

• Project Superintendents report directly to the Chief Superintendent.
• Work closely with assigned Project Managers and project teams.

Salary: $85,000–$90,000

Travel & Mileage

• Projects are generally located within a 50-mile radius.
• Mileage reimbursement provided at $0.75 per mile for travel beyond 50 miles.

About the Role:
Picone Construction Corporation, Buffalo's oldest commercial general contractor (est. 1931), is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects throughout Western New York.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects.

· Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, owners, architects, and engineers.

· Read and interpret project plans and specifications.

· Develop and maintain project schedules.

· Supervise self-performed work including layout, demolition, concrete, and carpentry.

· Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.

Qualifications:

· 6+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience (5+ minimum considered).

· Experience with ground-up, renovations, public or private sector projects.

· Knowledge of all major commercial construction trades.

· Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

· Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Valid driver's license preferred.
