Direct Support Professional

The Direct Support Professional provides essential support to individuals by assisting with daily activities, medication, and behavior monitoring within a medium-sized team. Reporting to the Program Supervisor, this role involves collaboration and occasional travel to multiple client locations, offering flexible work shifts including standard day and evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities
• Provide medication support as needed
• Monitor and document client behavior
• Intervene effectively during crises
• Coordinate activities to enhance client engagement
• Collaborate with team members to ensure client well-being
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license

• Entry-level experience in direct support services
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Skills in patient care and behavioral support

• Crisis intervention and documentation proficiency
