Heavy Equipment Operator – Demolition

We’re looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator to join our demolition crew. This role is responsible for safely operating equipment to demolish structures and clear sites for redevelopment.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, and other heavy machinery for demolition and site clearing

• Perform pre-operation equipment inspections and basic maintenance

• Follow site safety plans and demolition sequencing

• Load and haul debris; coordinate with ground crew and spotters

• Read site plans and follow supervisor instructions on scope of work

• Maintain accurate daily logs of equipment use and hours

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in demolition or construction

• Valid operator certifications (as required by state/local law)

• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Physical stamina for long shifts on active job sites

• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus
