Preschool Teacher

Victory School, a Christ-centered preschool serving the York-Poquoson area, is currently seeking a compassionate, fun, and patient Teacher to join our team! We are passionate about providing top-notch care and a loving, faith-based environment for the children in our center, and we’re looking for someone who shares that mission.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Creating and maintaining a safe and welcoming classroom environment
• Carrying out daily routines and responsibilities related to the care and well-being of children
• Implementing age-appropriate lesson plans (provided) that support developmental milestones
• Following all Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) Licensing Standards
• Building positive, nurturing relationships with children and their families

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting
• Demonstrates a genuine love for children and a calling to serve in a Christian environment
• Is able to multitask, adapt to the needs of the classroom, and maintain a positive attitude
• Is comfortable engaging children at their level—including playing on the floor, changing diapers, and assisting with meals
• Is willing to grow in knowledge of licensing standards and classroom best practices
