Ability to interpret construction drawings, plumbing schematics, and project specifications to perform accurate material and labor takeoffs and define scope.
Strong proficiency in plumbing cost estimating and bid preparation using estimating software or spreadsheets, with solid knowledge of plumbing materials, fixtures, codes, and installation methods for commercial and residential projects.
Experience in a plumbing estimator, project engineer, or related construction/mechanical trades role.
Competence in maintaining cost databases and estimate records, including data analysis and documentation.
Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word) and familiarity with construction management or estimating software.
Understanding of safety standards and best practices in construction environments.
Relevant technical training or education in construction management, mechanical systems, or a related field.
