Canine Care Taker

Hidden Gem Kennels is a structured scheduled based facility that focuses on one on one individual care and small group play interactions. We offer services like Boarding, Daycare, Grooming, and Training.

Throughout our day - You can find us on nature walks, engaging in one-on-one play, facilitating small group play in our indoor or outdoor play yards, enrichment sessions, sanitizing animal spaces and equipment, and keeping a happy and healthy environment for all our visitors.

We believe that the happiest type of dog is one that knows its routine and has built trust with their handlers.

That's why we are looking to fill the position of Canine Care Taker. We are looking for great and dedicated people that love dogs and enjoy working with them long term. This is an amazing opportunity and one of the most rewarding career paths where you can build strong bonds with the puppy friends that visit us.

We would love for our applicants to have prior animal experience, but it is not required. We will train the right and dedicated candidates, who are looking for a fun and new career path!

Job Duties Include:

-Cleaning kennels & facility

-Feeding and administrating medications

-Walking & exercising dogs

-Supervising small group play

-Being one on one with a dog in solo play

-Comforting & Spoiling dogs

Requirements:

-Must be 18 years or older

-Must have reliable transportation

-Must have a strong work ethic.

-Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs

-Comfortable around most if not all dog breeds

-A team player, willing to learn

-Comfortable speaking with clients
