Why Southern Illinois?
The Glen Carbon and Edwardsville area is one of the Midwest's most livable and highly reputable communities - and one of the best-kept secrets in veterinary recruiting. Top-rated school systems, wide-open land with room for your animals, and a genuine community feel. Cost of living is low, which means your compensation here buys a lifestyle that other cities or even the Chicagoland area simply cannot match. St. Louis amenities - world-class restaurants, professional sports, arts, and culture - are minutes away, and St. Louis Lambert International Airport provides easy access for travel. This is the kind of place where veterinarians come for a job, build a life, and take care of the best animals around.
