Chiller Technician - Commercial HVAC

We're looking for an experienced Commercial Chiller Technician to join our expanding team. Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair:
  • Air-cooled chillers
  • Water-cooled chillers
  • Cooling towers
  • Chilled water systems
  • Pumps and associated controls
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and control system issues.
• Start up and commission new chiller equipment.
• Recover, evacuate, and charge refrigerant systems.
• Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
• Complete digital service reports with detailed findings and recommendations.
• Communicate professionally with customers and project managers.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• At least 3 years working on chillers.
• Experience with one or more of the following manufacturers:
  • Trane
  • Daikin
  • Carrier
  • York
  • Mitsubishi
  • Smardt
  • Multistack
• Experience with BAS systems such as:
  • Tracer
  • Niagara
  • Johnson Controls
  • Honeywell
  • Siemens
• Ability to troubleshoot compressors, VFDs, expansion valves, sensors, and control boards.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification (Required)
• Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Preferred Certifications

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Factory training from Trane, Daikin, Carrier, York, or similar manufacturers
• NATE Certification (Preferred)
