Maintenance/Facilities Technician – Senior Living Facility

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance/Facilities Worker to ensure our facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming. If you have experience in basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work, and take pride in maintaining a high standard of facility operations, we encourage you to apply.


Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (Flexible Start Time Available)

* This position will have on call responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems throughout the facility

- Conduct inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively

- Assist with installation, replacement, and repair of fixtures, appliances, and equipment

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents

- Assist in general facility upkeep to ensure a safe and comfortable environment


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work

- HVAC certification a plus

- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to maintenance tasks

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing for extended periods

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus
