We are seeking motivated Data Center Site Technicians to support warehouse logistics, material handling, and Hot Aisle Containment (HAC) installation projects at customer data centers throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area.
Position Summary
The Data Center Site Technician performs hands-on work supporting data center construction and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include receiving and staging materials, inventory management, installation of Hot Aisle Containment systems, rack accessories, containment panels, kick plates, side panels, and general logistical support while working safely in active mission-critical environments.
This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work as part of a team, and willingness to travel to project sites throughout the Atlanta area.
Essential ResponsibilitiesLogistics & Material Support
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming project materials
Load, unload, and stage materials according to project plans
Organize inventory and maintain material accountability
Transport equipment throughout the data center
Assist with warehouse organization and inventory counts
Remove packaging and dispose of materials according to site requirements
Coordinate material movement with project management and site leads
Install containment ceiling panels, doors, kick plates, side panels, and roof systems
Install hardware, brackets, framing, and support components
Measure, level, and align containment systems
Install aisle accessories and finish components
Perform quality inspections on completed installations
Identify and report deficiencies requiring correction
Assist with rack preparation and infrastructure installation
Install rack accessories and cable management components
Support equipment staging and deployment
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Follow customer standards and site procedures
Assist with punch-list completion and closeout activities
Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies
Wear required PPE at all times
Participate in daily safety briefings
Maintain clean and hazard-free work areas
Report incidents, hazards, or damaged equipment immediately
Comply with customer security requirements and badge policies
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
Ability to pass background checks required for secure facilities
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and walk for extended periods
Basic proficiency with hand and power tools
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous data center experience
Hot Aisle Containment installation experience
Warehouse or logistics experience
Construction or commercial installation experience
Rack installation experience
Low-voltage or structured cabling experience
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
Forklift or scissor lift certification (preferred)
Experience working in active mission-critical environments
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Stand and walk for 8–12 hour shifts
Climb ladders and work on elevated platforms
Work in hot, cold, or noisy environments
Perform repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, and kneeling
Wear PPE throughout the workday
Schedule
Monday–Friday (project dependent)
Overtime and weekends may be required
Early morning start times
Travel throughout the Atlanta Metro Area
