Heartwood Assisted Living Community is seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of our assisted living community. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents while supervising maintenance staff and coordinating building repairs and preventative maintenance.

ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise the daily activities of the maintenance team.
Schedule and prioritize maintenance requests and work orders.
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance issues.
Conduct regular inspections to identify safety hazards and maintenance needs.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations.
Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed.
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
Assist with emergency repairs and respond to after-hours maintenance needs when necessary.
Support community readiness for Department of Health surveys and other regulatory inspections.
Promote a clean, safe, and attractive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous maintenance experience required, preferably in healthcare, assisted living, senior living, or hospitality.
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
Ability to read and complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work, including bending, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Starting pay of $26.00 per hour
