Description:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Fill Room Operator is responsible to oversee the operation of the equipment in the Fill Room area during production, working to attain safety, high quality & efficiency goals with minimal downtime. Fill Room Operators are also responsible to help ensure the function of the equipment through some periodic maintenance and completing product changeovers.
Requirements:
- Conduct quality checks – weight and crimp width and depth
- Read and follow batch ticket and spec sheet
- Verify concentrate is correct against batch ticket
- In-process adjustment to filler machine
- Line change over
- Will be required to follow safety and quality standards
- Fill out quality paperwork for shift
- Keeps work area clean and orderly – removes trash
- Responsible to oversee the basic operation of equipment during production.
- Complete all proper documentation as assigned.
