Mr. Restoration is seeking a Restoration Technician to support water, fire, and mold remediation efforts onsite in the Middle Tennessee area.

Position Summary

As a Restoration Technician - Water, Fire, and Mold, you will help restore residential and commercial properties after water damage, fire damage, and mold-related incidents. You will work directly in affected spaces to ensure safe, thorough, and timely mitigation and restoration while maintaining high-quality service standards.

This role is hands-on and field-based, requiring attention to detail, strong safety awareness, and the ability to follow remediation protocols from assessment through completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform water, fire, and mold remediation tasks, including controlled drying, debris handling, and surface restoration support

  • Set up and operate drying and containment equipment to reduce moisture and limit cross-contamination

  • Assist with site assessments, documenting conditions and progress throughout mitigation activities

  • Follow safety procedures and remediation standards, including proper use of protective equipment and containment practices

  • Maintain job site organization, care for tools and equipment, and support a clean, professional work environment

Required Qualifications
  • Experience assisting with restoration, remediation, or related field work in residential or commercial settings

  • Ability to work onsite and perform physically demanding tasks in varied environments and conditions

  • Strong commitment to safety, including following established protocols and using protective equipment correctly

  • Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet job timelines

  • Basic understanding of moisture control, damage mitigation practices, and property restoration workflows

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience specifically with water damage mitigation, fire cleanup support, and/or mold remediation

  • Familiarity with industry remediation standards and documentation practices

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and comfort operating mitigation equipment

  • Strong communication skills with customers, property stakeholders, and team members

  • Ability to learn job-specific procedures quickly and consistently apply them across sites
