Dental Assistant

Pay: $17-20/hour

Schedule: Full-time

Location: Grand Junction, CO

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our team. This role supports the dental provider in delivering high-quality care while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for patients. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment

Duties

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and record patient medical histories and vital signs
• Capture dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
• Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Support front office tasks as needed, including scheduling and patient communication

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Dental experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a clinical setting.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment
