Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities

As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care by:

  • Providing direct nursing care according to individualized care plans

  • Administering medications and treatments

  • Completing resident assessments

  • Accurately documenting care and clinical observations

  • Monitoring changes in resident condition and communicating with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team

  • Supervising and supporting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

  • Delivering compassionate, resident-centered care that promotes comfort, dignity, and quality of life

Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted North Carolina LPN License

  • Current CPR Certification

  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program

  • Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred, but not required
