Capital Home Health, Inc. is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality in-home care to our patients throughout Central Ohio. Our Home Health Aides work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to assist patients in maintaining their independence, safety, and dignity while receiving care in their homes.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services including:
Bathing
Dressing
Grooming
Oral hygiene
Toileting and incontinence care
Assist patients with transfers, ambulation, and mobility.
Monitor and report changes in the patient's physical or emotional condition to the supervising nurse.
Take and document vital signs when assigned and trained.
Assist with light housekeeping related to the patient's care.
Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when needed.
Change bed linens and assist with laundry.
Reinforce education provided by the nursing staff.
Complete all required Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and agency documentation accurately and on time.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Follow the individualized Plan of Care established by the Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or successful completion of a State-approved Home Health Aide Training Program.
Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Valid Ohio driver's license.
Reliable transportation with current automobile insurance.
Ability to pass criminal background check, drug screening, and pre-employment requirements.
Excellent communication, compassion, and professionalism.
Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist patients as needed.
