Certified Home Health Aides

Certified Home Health Aides provide essential care and support to patients within private homes, assisted living facilities, and hospice care centers. They assist with daily living activities, monitor health status, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients in need of home health care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities
• Assist with medication management under supervision
• Monitor and record vital signs regularly
• Perform light household tasks to maintain a clean environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient safety and respond to health changes promptly
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients
• Assist with patient mobility and transferring as needed

Required Qualifications

• Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) training

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in home health care
• Proficiency in patient care and medication assistance
• Basic first aid knowledge
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Demonstrated empathy and compassionate care
