Dental Assistant

Join our single dentist office as a Dental Assistant, providing essential support primarily in general dentistry procedures. Reporting directly to the Dentist, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth patient care and efficient practice operations with minimal travel, mainly on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
• Take and develop dental radiographs accurately
• Sterilize instruments to maintain infection control standards
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently
• Manage and update dental records
• Oversee inventory of dental supplies and equipment
• Implement infection control protocols throughout the practice
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain and troubleshoot dental equipment

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting
• Proficiency in dental radiography techniques
• Strong knowledge of infection control practices
• Skilled in chairside assistance for dental procedures
• Familiarity with dental software applications
• Expertise in sterilization techniques
• Effective communication skills with patients and team members
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in dental assisting
