Dental Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a full-time or part-time Dental Assistant to join our comprehensive dental practice. You will be welcomed by a friendly and professional team dedicated to supporting one dentist in a growing environment that values growth and education. This role offers excellent pay and benefits, working four days a week from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with no travel or multi-location work required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures
- Perform dental radiography as needed
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Operate digital scanning technology
- Manage dental records accurately
- Provide chairside assistance during dental treatments
- Implement infection control protocols
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently
- Manage inventory to ensure adequate supplies
- Educate patients on oral care and post-treatment instructions
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in dental assisting
- Proficient in dental radiography
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices
- Experience in patient care and communication
- Skilled in digital scanning technologies
- Familiar with sterilization techniques
- Competent in chairside assisting
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
