Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant supports dentists in providing high-quality oral care to patients by preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, and ensuring patient comfort. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient workflow and adherence to infection control standards in the dental office. Hours are 30-32 hours per week. Monday -Thursday (No Fridays !) 8:30-4:30pm .

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize dental treatment rooms for patient procedures
• Assist dentists during clinical procedures by handing instruments and materials
• Ensure patient comfort and explain procedures to reduce anxiety
• Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols for instruments and equipment
• Take and process dental X-rays as needed
• Record patient medical histories and treatment information accurately
• Manage appointment scheduling and patient records
• Provide post-procedure instructions to patients as directed by dentists
