Home Care Aide

Ingleside Home Care, a provider of home care and companion services affiliated with Ingleside Homes, Inc., is currently seeking applicants for home care aides to provide assistance and companionship to our clients throughout the New Castle Co. community and within our facility. Duties may include hygiene assistance (bathing, dressing, etc), medication reminders, laundry, meal prep, companionship and running short errands. This position does not require use of lifts or skilled care assistance. Applicants must have access to a personal vehicle, a clean driving record, valid driver's license and car insurance to work with outside clients. All applicants must have at least 2-3 years of related experience, preferably with senior clientele for both working with inside and outside clients as well as reliable transportation. We offer a flexible schedule, with an average of 20 hours/week, though it could be more or less based on your requirements. Pay rate of $17-20/hour plus reimbursement for mileage between clients and any mileage for errands. Employees who work 20+ hours per week are also eligible to earn paid time off and participate in the company's 403b retirement plan. Double-time for working holidays. Potential to become full-time based upon clientele.

Must be able to pass state-required drug and background checks for elder care. EOE.
