Now Hiring: Experienced Dental Assistant

Santa Monica & Los Angeles, CA

Our growing, patient-focused dental practice is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. We have opportunities available at both our Santa Monica and Los Angeles office locations.

We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and team-oriented Dental Assistant who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a modern, fast-paced practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during a wide variety of dental procedures.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and infection control standards.
  • Take digital radiographs and intraoral photos.
  • Fabricate temporary crowns and other temporary restorations as needed.
  • Make high-quality temporary crowns that are functional and esthetic.
  • Take impressions
  • Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout procedures.
  • Educate patients on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment notes.
  • Assist with room turnover and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
  • Work collaboratively with doctors and the administrative team to provide an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications:

  • Current California Dental Assistant certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience preferred.
  • Experience assisting with restorative, crown and bridge, extractions, root canals, implants, and surgical procedures.
  • Ability to fabricate high-quality temporary crowns independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
