Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical engineering execution for EPC projects involving industrial power distribution, power generation, and related facility infrastructure.
- Direct and review electrical design deliverables, analyses, and construction packages to ensure technical quality, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate electrical, instrumentation, and controls scope across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Work closely with project managers, customers, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to manage scope, priorities, schedules, and technical interfaces.
- Lead or oversee power system studies and key electrical deliverables, including single-line diagrams, equipment layouts, grounding, lighting, cable documentation, and related design outputs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and designers while supporting safe, efficient, and timely project delivery.
- Support business development and customer relationship efforts by contributing technical credibility, practical solutions, and strong project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in industrial electrical engineering, including power distribution and/or power generation projects.
- Experience leading electrical engineering work within an EPC or design-build project environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, applicable codes and standards, and power system studies.
- Working knowledge of instrumentation and controls sufficient to coordinate multidisciplinary EIC execution.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage technical interfaces, and communicate effectively with customers and project stakeholders.
- Ability to work from Charleston, WV and travel as required for project needs.
- Experience delivering complex industrial projects through multiple phases, from front-end development through detailed design, procurement support, construction, and commissioning.
- Experience coordinating with owners, vendors, construction teams, and other engineering disciplines in fast-paced EPC project environments.
