We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of physiotherapy practices, with experience in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, function, and quality of life. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing recovery outcomes and enhancing patient well-being through evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physical conditions by evaluating their medical history, mobility, and functional limitations to develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and exercise programs to promote healing and restore function.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
  • Manage discharge planning processes to ensure smooth transitions from hospital or inpatient settings to home or community environments.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with healthcare standards and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and ongoing care needs.
  • Work with diverse patient populations, including geriatric, neurological, orthopedic, and outpatient rehabilitation clients.
  • Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and maintain compliance with clinical documentation standards.

Qualifications

  • Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the respective jurisdiction.
  • Demonstrated experience practicing in a physical therapy role within outpatient Settings.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and therapeutic modalities relevant to physiotherapy.
  • Proven ability to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs across various clinical environments.
  • Experience working with geriatric patients, neurology cases, orthopedics, and outpatient rehabilitation centers is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation purposes.
  • Excellent client communication skills with an emphasis on empathetic patient education and engagement.
  • Ability to collaborate seamlessly with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.
