About the Role:
Join our passionate team at Montebello Children's Dentistry as a Pediatric Dental Assistant! In this role, you will help create a positive and engaging dental experience for children while supporting our dedicated dental professionals. Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during pediatric procedures and examinations.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Educate children and their parents on proper dental hygiene practices.
- Manage patient records .
- Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Provide compassionate support to children to ease their dental anxiety.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and reorder as necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry or dental assisting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor with children.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and sterilization techniques.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and a passion for helping children.
- Dental software knowledge Eaglesoft and Digital Xray Nomad
