We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and reliable Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, providing exceptional dental care, and creating a positive dental experience for every child and family. Responsibilities
- Welcome patients into the Treatment and Hygiene area and make them feel comfortable
- Take digital radiographs
- Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain organized operatories
- Assist the dentist during procedures and exams
- Assist with nitrous oxide procedure, prophylaxis cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and restorative treatments
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting
Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience required; pediatric dental experience preferred
- Current Dental Assisting certification
- Current CPR certification
- Current Radiology certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Dependable, punctual, and team oriented
- Passionate for providing outstanding customer service to children and their families
