Joint Pain Solution Center is a growing physician-owned practice specializing in non-surgical arthritis and musculoskeletal care. We help patients avoid unnecessary surgery through advanced ultrasound-guided procedures, regenerative medicine, and personalized treatment plans.
We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and energetic Medical Assistant who enjoys working directly with patients and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to expand their clinical skills while working alongside a board-certified physician committed to exceptional patient care.
What You'll Do
- Room patients and obtain accurate medical histories and vital signs
- Prepare patients for physician examinations and procedures
- Assist with ultrasound-guided joint and soft tissue injections
- Set up and maintain sterile procedure trays and equipment
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
- Prepare PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) processing equipment (training provided)
- Administer injections and medications as permitted by Florida law
- Clean, sterilize, and stock examination and procedure rooms
- Accurately document patient information within the EMR (Athena)
- Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care
- Educate patients on treatment plans and post-procedure instructions
- Answer phones and assist with general front office duties when needed
- Maintain a professional, welcoming experience for every patient
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records
- Positive attitude with exceptional customer service skills
Preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)
- Orthopedic, sports medicine, pain management, or urgent care experience
- Phlebotomy experience
- Experience assisting with procedures
- Athenahealth EMR experience

Compensation
Starting pay: Up to $22 per hour for experienced Medical Assistants, based on qualifications and experience.
Schedule
- Part-time and Full-time
- Monday-Friday with some Saturdays to work
- Day shift
- No nights
- No major holidays
