We are seeking a dedicated, motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. Salary: Starting 20/hr. + DOE ( Depends on experience and skills can be negotiable)

Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Manage patient records accurately, including medical histories and treatment plans.
• Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory and waiting areas.
• Support pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming environment for young patients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of general dentistry practices.
• Familiarity with open dental or similar dental software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of anatomy related to dental health.
• Ability to assist in pediatric dentistry, demonstrating patience and care with younger patients.
• Knowledge of medical records management is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
