Job Description
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - SENIOR
Position Summary: Supports daily electrical project management, client interface, and provides direction to electrical engineers, designers, and production staff on the production of on time and quality-controlled project specific electrical deliverables.
Basic Duties:
· Will support daily electrical engineering and design for industrial projects, provide direction to project team on the production of time and quality-controlled project specific electrical deliverables.
· Electrical conceptual and detailed designs, methods and materials specifications, electrical equipment application.
· NEC compliance, building code compliance, feasibility studies, adherence to budgets and schedules, cost estimating, field survey, construction administration
· Support of procurement and construction activities.
Basic Qualifications:
· A minimum of 7 years progressive experience is required.
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or related field, with a PE.
· Experience with electrical conceptual designs, methods and materials specifications.
· Working knowledge and experience using AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software such as Revit.
· Proficiency with electrical analysis software such as SKM Power Tools or ETAP
· Previous experience with electrical power distribution, grounding, motor control, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems is preferred.
· Candidate must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects.
· Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detailed-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills.
· Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
· Valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.
Desired Qualifications:
· Experience with industrial /power distribution and building systems, motor controls, control systems and grounding.
· Experience working on multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
