Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and reliable In-Home Caregiver / Aide to support a new client in Midland, NC. The client is an above-the-knee amputee, and this role requires a caregiver who is attentive to mobility safety, skin integrity, and physical transfers. This position offers a stable, consistent daytime schedule (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) perfect for professionals dedicated to one-on-one personal care.
Key Responsibilities

Mobility & Transfer Assistance: Provide safe physical assistance with transfers (bed, chair, toilet) and help the client safely navigate the home.

Personal Care: Assist with daily activities of living (ADLs) including dignified bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.

Prosthetic / Residual Limb Care: Monitor the residual limb for skin breakdown, pressure points, or irritation, ensuring the area stays clean and dry.

Meal Preparation: Cook and serve nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day according to the client's preferences.

Medication Reminders: Ensure the client takes their prescribed medications accurately and on schedule.

Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment (including light cleaning, laundry, and dishes).
Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience as a Caregiver or Aide working with individuals with amputations, mobility impairments, or high-transfer needs is preferred.

Compliance: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a Current TB Test, and valid CPR/First Aid certification.

Transportation: Valid Driver’s License, a reliable personal vehicle, and current Auto Insurance are mandatory.

Physical Ability: Must have the physical stamina and strength to assist with transfers and safely support an adult client's mobility needs.
