CDA/DAII

The CDA/DAII plays a key role within a specialized dental team, providing support to a dedicated dentist through a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. This position involves preparing patients for dental procedures, assisting chairside during treatments, managing sterilization processes, and maintaining accurate patient records, all while ensuring close attention to infection control and patient education. Proficiency with dental-specific software including Dentrix, Dexis, and CAD CAM tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental treatments efficiently and compassionately
• Perform dental radiography and manage imaging equipment
• Assist chairside during dental procedures to support the dentist
• Ensure all instruments and equipment are sterilized and maintained properly
• Support clinical workflow and procedures with accuracy
• Maintain and update detailed patient records in dental software systems
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in dental assisting
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification
• Dental Assistant II (DAII) credential
• Knowledge of dental radiography and chairside assisting
• Strong infection control and sterilization procedure skills
• Effective patient communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to collaborate within a team
