We are looking for an Accounting Manager to support financial operations for a contract assignment based in Dallas, Texas. This Contract position calls for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can oversee core accounting activities, strengthen reporting accuracy, and help maintain efficient day-to-day processes. The role is well suited to someone who combines strong analytical ability with practical experience across reconciliations, billing, and month-end accounting.

Responsibilities:
• Lead daily accounting activities, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and aligned with internal financial controls.
• Manage account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance to support timely and reliable financial reporting.
• Oversee billing, invoicing, deposits, and revenue-related accounting tasks while resolving discrepancies through detailed research.
• Coordinate month-end close activities and review financial results to identify trends, variances, and areas requiring follow-up.
• Support payroll-related accounting, time sheet review, and other finance operations that impact reporting and cash flow.
• Use ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to analyze data, prepare ad hoc financial reports, and improve visibility into business performance.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to address service-related questions, provide training, and promote productive accounting workflows.
• Contribute to process improvement efforts and assist with migration-related accounting responsibilities when needed.• Demonstrated experience in accounting or finance with responsibility for general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to organize data, perform analysis, and produce clear reporting.
• Working knowledge of billing, invoicing, deposits, revenue accounting, and month-end close procedures.
• Experience using ERP systems to manage accounting processes and support operational accuracy.
• Ability to prepare journal entries, investigate variances, and complete ad hoc financial analysis with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with payroll functions, time sheet review, and related accounting impacts is preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to train others and collaborate across teams.
