Forklift Operator

12 Months contract

Pay Rate and shifts:

$16.50/hr on w2 (1st Shift)

$17.50/hr on w2 (2nd Shift)

Job description:

The Forklift Driver/Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving raw materials, components, finished goods, and packaging materials throughout the facility while ensuring inventory accuracy and protecting sensitive electronic products.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up/reach truck, or electric pallet jack) to transport materials safely.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Move electronic components, finished products, and packaging materials between warehouses and production lines.
• Supply production lines with raw materials to prevent manufacturing delays.
• Scan materials using barcode scanners to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform inventory transactions.
• Conduct daily forklift safety inspections and report equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Handle sensitive electronic components carefully to prevent physical damage.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock reconciliation.
• Label, wrap, palletize, and prepare products for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization using 5S principles.
• Work closely with warehouse, logistics, production, and quality teams.
• Follow GMP, ISO, or other quality procedures if required.
