We are looking for an IT Manager to lead and support the organization’s technology operations in Minnesota. This position is suited for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can balance long-term planning with daily technical support across infrastructure, systems, security, and user services. The role serves as a central point of contact for technology needs, helping maintain dependable, secure, and efficient IT performance throughout the company.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the stability and performance of network infrastructure, addressing connectivity issues and maintaining reliable access across the organization.
• Administer core hardware such as firewalls, switches, wireless equipment, and related network components while keeping systems updated with current firmware and security patches.
• Support Fortinet-based environments and resolve issues involving network drops, cabling connections, and internet service disruptions.
• Provide day-to-day technical assistance for employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, Microsoft 365, Active Directory access, and remote user support.
• Manage virtual servers, storage resources, and coordination with external hosting or data center partners to help ensure system availability and recovery readiness.
• Maintain corporate mobile technology programs, including cellular devices and tracking solutions tied to company vehicles or assets.
• Configure, deploy, and support printers, multifunction devices, and other end-user equipment while managing inventory and retirement of outdated technology.
• Administer physical security technologies such as access controls, key fob permissions, and surveillance systems, and help uphold IT security practices across the business.
• Collaborate with leadership on vendor relationships, service agreements, and IT priorities while providing practical guidance on ongoing projects and operational needs.• At least 5 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a closely related technology leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft 365 administration and Active Directory user and permissions management.
• Strong working knowledge of networking concepts, including firewalls, switches, wireless environments, and internet connectivity support.
• Hands-on experience supporting Fortinet technologies in a business environment.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms, server administration, storage systems, and backup technologies.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues across hardware, software, endpoint devices, and networked systems.
• Experience with configuration management and general support of computer hardware and business technology assets.
