We are looking for an accomplished Sr. Benefits Manager to guide the direction and delivery of employee benefit programs in Austin, Texas. This position will shape competitive offerings, oversee daily administration, and ensure programs align with organizational objectives and employee needs. The role also works closely with internal partners and external providers to maintain compliance, improve processes, and support a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities:
• Direct the planning, execution, and ongoing refinement of benefit programs, including healthcare, retirement, wellness, disability, life insurance, and leave offerings.
• Oversee daily benefits operations by managing enrollments, resolving escalations, and coordinating annual open enrollment activities.
• Review program performance, workforce feedback, and cost trends to recommend practical improvements that strengthen value and employee satisfaction.
• Manage relationships with brokers, consultants, and benefit vendors to ensure strong service delivery, contract adherence, and operational effectiveness.
• Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, and Legal teams to support accurate deductions, reporting, reconciliations, and policy administration.
• Maintain compliance with applicable benefit laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels through consistent oversight and documentation.
• Create and deliver clear benefit communications and educational resources so employees can better understand and use available programs.
• Lead benefits-related work tied to organizational changes such as integrations, restructurings, acquisitions, or platform implementations.
• Supervise and develop benefits staff, while strengthening internal procedures, records, and program documentation.
• Monitor industry developments and emerging practices to keep benefit offerings competitive and aligned with market expectations.• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in benefits, compensation and benefits, or total rewards.
• Prior leadership experience with responsibility for guiding or managing team members is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of employee benefits compliance, plan governance, and administrative practices.
• Experience overseeing vendors, brokers, consultants, and external benefit partners.
• Proficiency with HR systems, benefits administration platforms, and reporting tools.
• Demonstrated analytical, project coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders while handling confidential information discreetly.
