Payroll Clerk
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Answer 50–60 inbound payroll-related calls daily from employees.
Assist with questions regarding paychecks, direct deposit, taxes, deductions, timekeeping, and payroll policies.
Research and resolve payroll issues or route complex inquiries to the appropriate team.
Document interactions accurately in internal systems.
Navigate multiple software applications while assisting callers.
Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Previous call center/customer service experience is required.
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning and navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer proficiency.
Payroll experience is a plus but not required.
