Job Title: Grants Accountant

Location: 3840 Hulen St., Fort Worth, TX (In-person)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible hours)

Dress Code: Business Casual


About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Grants Accountant to join our team on a temporary basis with potential for permanent placement. This in-person position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects within a dynamic environment. The initial assignment is expected to last approximately 3-5 months as a contractor.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of grant accounting, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of grant funds and expenditures in accordance with governmental and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with program teams to facilitate smooth grant administration processes.
  • Prepare and review financial documentation for audits and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain detailed records of grant activities and deliverables.
  • Assist with financial analysis related to grants to support decision-making and financial planning.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, with a focus on grant management.
  • Specialized Skills: Prior grant experience is required; familiarity with government or non-profit accounting systems is preferred.
  • Additional Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of advanced computer systems and software relevant to accounting and grant management.
    • (Preferred) Master’s Degree plus one year of relevant experience.


Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $28-$30/hr
