Doggie Daycare Attendant
Job Description
Hello! The Daily Stroll is seeking an EXPERIENCED dog handler to join our fun-loving team of dog lovers. Who wants to join our funky bunch? We have several open positions for daycare attendants at our multiple locations - feel free to let us know which location is most convenient for you! ***PAY IS $18/hr STARTING RATE*** ⭐️
Daycare attendants are responsible for:
- walking groups of up to 3 dogs at a time
- greeting clients and checking dogs into/out of daycare
- cleaning the daycare facility on a regular basis
- keeping after the doggie clients
- feeding dogs lunch as needed
- regular supervision (along with your other team members) of up to 50 daycare dogs
We have a VERY STEADY road to growth in our company! The longer you are with us, the more you learn the “kids”, the more valuable you are to us - the more you EARN. Pay is re-evaluated after the first 3 months (my company gives VERY regular raises to loyal employees).
**** REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION ****
1) MUST be willing to work 32+ hours EVERY WEEK. Overtime (up to 10 hours) is often required and pay rate is “time and a half”
2) MUST be physically active and able to be working on your feet for your entire shift
3) MUST have excellent communication skills with the dogs
4) MUST have open availability: this is a FT position and requires a lot.
5) MUST have excellent “teamwork” and interpersonal skills
6) MUST be able to work Monday through Friday
7) MUST be able to commit to at least 8 months of service with the company.
