Primary Purpose:

The Consultation BCBA provides high-quality ABA support consult with stakeholders (that term includes

teachers, parents and caregivers) on understanding understanding behavior strategies and to support through coaching and behavioral skills training (BST). A BCBA in this role will be assigned a variety of consultancy cases that are a combination of school, caregiver training, and Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) cases. Each consultant will have autonomy over their schedule and an opportunity to work with the supervisor

and\or director on different consultancy initiatives or projects. As a part of the consultancy team, the

consultant will have the opportunity to work in different settings, such as remote work, clients’ homes, school districts throughout western Washington, and residential or group home.

Essential duties and responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Provide architectural guidance and perform an assessment of environment for recommendations, best

practices etc.

• Accomplish department and organization mission by completing related results as needed

• Increase clientele marketing and outreach

• Perform all activities in accordance with policies and procedures to maintain customer loyalty

• Quality assurance of protocols and systems for fidelity of consultation ·

• Implement project management process and produce deliverables on a monthly basis

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team (Assistant Directors in SPED, program specialists, para support

specialists, behavioral health specialists, counselors, principals, teachers)

• Conduct individual/classroom/district program assessments within general education, special

education, and social/emotional/behavior education classrooms.

• Assessments include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct APERS with classroom goals to build on areas for growth Develop FBA and develop PBSP for

individual students

• Develop OBM plans for district systems or programs within districts · Collaborate with stakeholders on

developing goals that are socially significant and develop a training plan that is feasible

• Conduct client assessments and indirect assessments with stakeholders to build on areas of growth

and identify priorities

• Develop feasible programs and interventions that are supportive of goals for stakeholders

• Develop reports of progress and meet deadlines for insurance-based clients

• Fidelity of consultation process through MTSS

• Participate in monthly consultation team meeting to discuss barriers and new initiatives from

consultants Develop and participate in presentations, workshops, and/or trainings for school staff

trainings/workshops throughout the summer or to work within our summer programs

• Other duties as assigned by leadership or direct sueprvisor

Minimum Requirements (education, certifications, knowledge, skills and abilities):

• Masters Degree in related field of study such as psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Education

or similar

• Certified by the BACB

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

• Proficeint in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

• Ecellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as record keeping and filing

• Ability to work independently and without direct supervision

Working Environment:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

• Must be comfortable in a variety of environments including client’s homes and school settings

Physical Demands:

• Activities require a significant amount of moving and engaging with clients. This may include

sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, walking, and running.

• Must be able to routinely lift up to 15 pounds at a time

• May be required to physically intervene as peer QBS training if the situation arises.
