Job Description
Dream Team Family Dentistry & Oral Surgery is seeking a compassionate, dependable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing practice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
We are looking for a hygienist who provides excellent clinical care while helping patients feel comfortable, respected, and well-informed. Experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply, and we are also happy to consider a recent dental-hygiene graduate who is properly licensed and ready to begin their career with a supportive team.
This is a full-time opportunity in Murfreesboro, with the option to also pick up part-time hours at our Lebanon office if desired.
Additional Opportunity: If you're interested in additional hours, we also have an immediate Part-Time Dental Hygienist opening at our Lebanon, TN location. Candidates interested in working at both offices are encouraged to apply.
Compensation:
Starting at $300 per day, with compensation based on experience, qualifications, and schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive adult and pediatric dental-hygiene services.
- Obtain and review medical and dental histories.
- Take diagnostic-quality radiographs as prescribed.
- Complete periodontal charting and assist with periodontal diagnosis.
- Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, fluoride treatments, and other preventive services within the hygienist’s permitted scope.
- Educate patients about oral hygiene, periodontal health, and recommended treatment.
- Accurately document clinical findings and treatment in patient records.
- Maintain proper infection-control and sterilization standards.
- Work closely with the doctors, assistants, and front-office team to provide an excellent patient experience.
- Help maintain an efficient, productive hygiene schedule without compromising patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Current Tennessee dental-hygiene license or eligibility to obtain one before beginning employment.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient-education skills.
- Dependable, professional, and team oriented.
- Comfortable treating patients of different ages and clinical needs.
Previous hygiene experience is welcomed but not required. New dental-hygiene graduates are encouraged to apply.
