CDL Class A driver wanted

Vehicle: Manual transmission day cab tractor

Estimated around 30-50 hours a week

Delivering auto parts from shipper to consignee

Our drivers are home every night, all same day deliveries

We are looking for hardworking and motivated individuals to help our business grow. We need someone to work from about 7am to 4pm, Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday morning work. You must be experienced with backing into docks. You must be able to drive a manual. Average hours per week would be 30-50 but is cyclical due to the industry. We are a family-owned business and have been in business for the last 40 years. We serve the automotive industry and typically transport metals, plastics and raw material.

Responsibilities and Duties

Pre-trip & Post-trip vehicle inspections

Driving

Pick up & Delivery paperwork

Load verification

Fueling

Trailer backing

Trailer moving

Drop and Hook

Load securing with strap/load bar

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 3 years experience

Must have had a valid drivers license for at least 9 years

Pre employment behavioral test

Pre employment drug screen
