Dispatcher/Expeditor

Local Phoenix freight company now recruiting for a full time dispatcher/expeditor. Previous dispatch experience required. Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends (minimal hours). Starting pay $20/hr. with $100/mo. phone and internet allowance. Comprehensive training provided. Duties will include:

1. Lining-up established carriers to move loads from Georgia and Virginia to the west coast.
2. Expediting time-sensitive orders to meet customer expectations.
3. Arranging appointment times and locations for pickups and deliveries.
4. Working directly with carriers and/or drivers to monitor OTR trucks.
5. Working directly with customers thru phone and email to expedite and monitor freight from manufacturers.
6. Updating company system with arrival ETAs and pertinent info.
7. Entering customer orders into company system for billing purposes.
8. Printing and distributing all paperwork for inbound freight.
