Modway is seeking experienced hands-on Accounts Receivable and Payable Operations Supervisor to help oversee and improve the day-to-day operations of the department. The Supervisor will report to the CFO working on site at our Modway Headquarters in East Windsor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Create and maintain standard operating procedures.

· Managing Account Receivables and Payable employees recurring tasks, deadlines, and open items.

· Help establish clear ownership and backup coverage across the team.

· Identify process gaps and recommend improvements.

· Support training and cross-training of staff.

· Work closely with the CFO and Controller accounting policies and procedures.

· Work collaboratively with Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Operations departments to develop and maintain efficient workflows

· Opportunity for the position to grow into an Accounting Manager position.

Experience & Competencies:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field

· 5+ years of progressive AR/AP experience within an E-Commerce operating environment or similar environment

· Proven experience managing, training and developing employees in an accounting function

· Strong understanding of accounting operations and internal controls.

· Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

· Experience creating SOPs or processing documentation.

· Advanced Excel skills with emphasis on excel formulas.
