Manufacturing Operations Controller

Orange County, CA (Preference) | Multi-Site | 50–70% Travel

We're partnering with a growing private investment group seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operations Controller to support a portfolio of precision manufacturing companies across the U.S. This is a highly visible role that combines accounting, operations, and business improvement.

What You'll Do

'14; Partner with plant leadership to improve profitability and operational performance
'14; Analyze cost accounting, inventory, labor, overhead, and manufacturing efficiencies
'14; Develop KPIs, dashboards, and financial reporting that drive better business decisions
'14; Standardize accounting and operational processes across multiple manufacturing sites
'14; Lead budgeting, forecasting, inventory accuracy, ERP improvements, and process implementation
'14; Support acquisition integrations and help newly acquired businesses transition onto standardized financial processes

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience within manufacturing
• Strong cost accounting and inventory experience
• Background in precision machining, aerospace, metal fabrication, or other discrete manufacturing environments preferred
• Experience partnering directly with operations and plant leadership
• Manufacturing ERP experience (Epicor, JobBoss, E2, Global Shop, Infor Visual, NetSuite, etc.)
• Comfortable spending time on the production floor and traveling to multiple facilities
